These September 11, 2001 photos were sent to me by Tim Powers, a very old and dear friend. After I reviewed them, I was moved to add them to my web site. Let's please not forget the men and woman that were lost in this despicable act of violence, including the 100's of individuals that were NOT in harms way and unselfishly rushed into hell to help . . . many never came out. The outrage we feel should also apply to the continuing escalation of domestic terrorism we have experienced by radical hate-mongers with no tolerance for other views. Just as international terrorism is supported and encouraged directly and indirectly by the fringe of religious, social and political groups, so is our home grown version of terrorism. They teach hate and radicalize their children . . . and the cycle continues. We have the good fortune to live in a free society and that freedom does present challenges when dealing with this type of hate bating . . . but we need to keep trying and not give up. Let's all work harder to be more vocal in condemning these disturbed perpetrators and those using the airways and the internet to give them direct and as well as more subtle encouragement. We will not like the social consequences of doing nothing and allowing this behavior to continue. Declassified Photos of the horror
